The Gardner

I awoke, startled in a cold sweat from the nightmare. It seemed so real. Was that a dream or did it really happen I thought to myself. “Failure sucks Theodore!” The voice screamed in my head. "But if you’re planning on doing anything important you are going to have to get used to it! Continued the voice. “NOOOOOOOOOOO!" I screamed as loud as I could. "You have no time for being scared of Embarrassment Theodore, not even Frustration!" The voice spoke. "These bad situations you started you can’t control. I control them, I control you. This is going to be a part of life, your life, forever!" What can you actually do about them instead of just having a “positive attitude about this situation that you created for yourself?” I definitely haven’t reached the pinnacle of human enlightenment. So, I can’t boast this criticism from dad is not that bad. The accidental blunder or bad experiences
never got to me. But I’m going to take practical steps to move past this. I have to, I must, I can’t continue on with this.
